Tender invitation for the tenancies of the first batch of lots for recycling of designated materials in EcoPark Phase I started on 29 Dec 2006. The EcoPark is a key Government initiative to promote local environmental and recycling industry and jump-start a circular economy by providing long term land for the industry.

There were 4,375 industrial accidents in the catering industry in the first half of 2006, up 4.4% over the same period of 2005, Permanent Secretary for Economic Development & Labour Matthew Cheung says.
