31 building plans approved

The Buildings Department approved 31 building plans in February - 11 on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon and 15 in the New Territories. They include 12 apartment and apartment-commercial developments, 11 commercial, five factory and industrial and three community-services developments. Consent was given for work to start on 12 building projects that, when completed, will provide 207 units with 25,520 square metres of gross floor area for domestic use, and 125,515 square metres of gross floor area for non-domestic use.
