The Cold Weather Warning issued last night was the first issued in April since its introduction in 1999. The Hong Kong Observatory said the temperature recorded this morning was the 18th lowest in April since records began in 1885.
April 10 the next poultry rest day

The next poultry rest day falls on April 10, the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department says. Operators of market stalls and fresh provision shops must slaughter all live poultry on their premises before noon, and suspend business in the afternoon and evening to carry out thorough cleaning and disinfection.
